Coach Missye has over 20 years experience in coaching and competing at cheer, dance, gymnastics, and twirling.  She began coaching while still a student at Baylor University, where she was a Golden Girl for four years, including two years as captain.  She began competing at twirling, dance, and gymnastics at age 3, and was a nationally-ranked twirler through high school.  Melissa was a cheerleader for both her middle school and high school.  For the fourth year, Coach Missye is coaching the Tiny and Mini Squads after leading the Blue Bolts to 5 National titles last year!  Specializing in working with the younger children, but also in keeping us organized, Coach Missye coordinates the administrative aspects of the cheer program.
